Tesla has officially been named the nation's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, according to President Biden! @elonmusk.

"From renowned firms like GM and Ford expanding their electric vehicle manufacturing to Tesla, our country's largest electric vehicle producer," says the report.

Since assuming office, US President Joe Biden has not publicly mentioned Tesla when discussing electric vehicles, but he did so on Tuesday after Tesla CEO Elon Musk complained about the lack of attention.

The White House has expressed a preference for traditional manufacturing that employ unionised workers, and Musk has expressed his displeasure with this trend.

He added, tagging the official account of the President of the United States, "For reasons unknown, @potus is unable to speak the word 'Tesla,'" the latest of numerous tweets criticising Biden.

At an event announcing the construction of an electric vehicle charging station facility in Tennessee, the president finally acknowledged Tesla.

He first named "iconic firms" like GM and Ford and their new electric vehicle production, but then added "Tesla, our nation's largest electric vehicle manufacturer" to the list of corporations that had recently invested in facilities in the United States.

Musk answered with a happy sunglasses emoji to a tweet mentioning the remark.
