Hospital. Doctors say the couple is in good health.
To prove her devotion to her husband, a woman in Sindh
Province made an unusual sacrifice by giving her liver. At Gambit Hospital,
Muhammad Khan's liver was successfully transplanted.
The woman stated that her marriage has lasted ten or twelve years, that she has no children, but that her husband is my liver.
According to the woman, her mother and two brothers died of liver disease. "I didn't want to lose my husband, so I donated the liver to rescue him."
At the Abdul Qadir Shah Jilani Institute of Medical Sciences in Gambat, Khairpur, a successful liver transplant was conducted.
Both spouses are well after the operation, according to
doctors. The woman stated that she would donate all of her organs in order to
save her husband.
